4Our Cause is an Internet-enabled "affinity shopping" program, in which committed members of an organization shop with a network of participating merchants who extend a percentage of sales back to that organization. While the concept of affinity shopping is not new, the enormous convenience and flexibility of the Internet bring new levels of support to the widest possible "affinity network" of affiliated organizations and like-minded merchants.
The potential for generating significant income for churches and charities is substantial - especially as grocers and other mass retailers lock in to the potential of 4Our Cause to replace the Scrip programs currently offered to churches, schools and other local and regional causes near and dear to their communities.
